Stenson Marina is situated above Stenson Lock on the Trent & Mersey Canal 3 miles south of Derby. The rural surroundings provide a tranquil setting for the 100 berth marina and yet is within easy reach of Derbyshire's countryside and the developing New National Forest.

Boaters have extensive cruising options from Stenson, being at the heart of the canal network and the nearby East Midlands rivers of the Trent & Soar. Stenson Lock is one of the deepest locks on the canal system attracting many visitors watching the boats moving up and down the Trent & Mersey Canal. Refreshments and snacks are available from the Lockside Cottage throughout the year and provides an ideal starting or end point for a walk along the canal or a moment to watch the World go by with boats passing through Stenson Lock.
