Boat owners today require far more energy to operate domestic style equipment including TV, video and computer systems, microwave ovens and freezers. Whilst energy saving devices such as LED lights and ultra energy efficient 12V fridges have reduced the 12V DC requirement, this has been far outweighed by the additional 240V AC demands.
Unfortunately the rules of science apply and you cannot take out anymore than you put in. Whilst moored this can be in the form of a landline, but whilst cruising the energy resources must be balanced between the engine alternator capacities, additional generator supply and any 'green' resource such as solar panels.

Our workshops provide a diagnostic and repair service for boat electrics for both 12V DC and AC systems. Our experience in installing on new craft using latest standards and practice provides assurance that owners craft are safeguarded against affects of electrolysis with incorrectly installed systems.
